I am a PhD student from the University of Bath. I’d previously studied Oceanography at Bangor University and interned at the National Oceanographic Centre before beginning my PhD. My project looks at using hydrodynamic models to explore how reservoirs will respond to future climate change. The results from these simulations can then be used to diagnose how climate change will affect the physics of the reservoir, in regard to issues such as intensity and period of stratification. This should help inform future best practices and aid in planned interventions to resolve future challenges.
